Guest guest
I just found you people last night and am very excited as this seems to be just what I have been looking for! Short version....many years of chemical sensitivities and multiple allergies (including foods), fatique, headaches, inability to digest fats--get bloating and constipation plus pain in right side. I am NOT overweight, yet at age 60 was told that I had very high cholesterol. Diet has NO effect and I couldn't tolerate the statin drugs. Last year I was put on Zetia which did lower the cholesterol. In November I became extremely fatigued and spent a week in the hospital with elevated liver enzymes. They now say I have gallstones too. I've been resting and doing nothing but still not getting well. Liver enzymes are still high, but new dr said they are coming down. QUESTION--Before I found this group I was reading everything I could - - so I have been taking lecithin, digestive enzymes, Betaine HCl,and I have always taken high quality vitamins and milk thistle. I WOULD LIKE TO TRY THE FLUSH but am afraid. My theory is that the allergies and high cholesterol are caused by a damaged liver and if I could repair the liver, those horrid things would go away. Every ailment I have seems to be related to the liver/gall bladder -- am I on the right track and can people please offer me some support? I am on my own and am afraid. Thanks for any advice or support.
Guest guest
the liver is the most regenerative organ in the body outside of hair, skin and nails. So much so that I could give you half of my liver and both of us would regenerate fully! Don't worry about you potentially damaged liver; treat it with loving kindness and use protective, regenerative " foods " . Don't worry about the flush, you'll do really well. You obviously are aware about the inner workings of your body and the need and efficacy of proper " nutrition " . You are in the middle of the right track and you are facing the proper direction. Think about adding some cold pressed vegetable oils, malic acid, and some type of cholegaugue herbs in order to stimulate bile production and flow.
