Hi Jeannine,

I have a cat that I also do not wish to vaccinate. I stopped all vaccines

except th eparasite one. My vet says that there is a risk for myself, too if

I do not give her parasite vaccine. I have CFS and getting a parasite from

my cat would be very difficult for me to handle so I continue to give her

parasite pills. On the other side I feel guilty for giving those poisons to

her. What do you think about this problem? Is there a risk for humans to get

parasite from pets?Do you take other means to control parasites at your dog?

Wish you the best and I hope you find a solution for your pet soon.I wonder

if it would be possible to give him some gall bladder supporting herbs in

form of tea and food like turnips, beets? For example chicory is good for

gallbladder.

Do a few group searches for dogs, holistic, homeopathic,

natural..etc. There's quite a few groups on here where people feed raw

and don't vaccinate. Coming up with your own plan of liver flushing a

dog could do more harm than good. There's probably an easier fix out

there that someone with more experience with it can tell you.

That's absurd. Your vet sounds like a quack. Even people who do

vaccinate aren't told to give parasite pills. wtf? What exact parasite

are you even talking about? Worms? Fleas? Ticks? Cats aren't walking

parasite hosts unless they're unhealthy to begin with. The trick is to

keep your cat healthy by feeding a natural, healthy diet. Not

vaccinating her isn't going to do much help if you're feeding something

like 9Lives or still giving these bogus pills which are compromising

the immune system. I don't even want to know how often they're given..

Please join these 3 groups and ask this question over there. They'd be

able to help more. :)
