Guest guest
I agree that due to inflammation a flush should be delayed. A juice diet, or soft food diet will give your system a rest and help it to return to its' prior condition. Good luck! ~S " Alison Orr " <alison@...> wrote: >Am I right > that this would not be wise because the gallbladder (and probably the > pancreas) are inflammed and it needs to be back to normal before you >should do a flush? Guest guest
Although I would never want to take responsibility for telling you what to do, you need to honor your own body and if it would honor your body to play it safe, then taking it easy would be the best option. However, after decades of gallbladder attacks and in the middle of one, I figured I was going to end up in the hospital anyway, did the flush and felt so much better. I then went way too long before my next flush, had another attack and it still worked. But at that point I felt I had nothing to lose and I was in such pain it took my breath way, but something told me to flush anyway. However, I did do the herbs from sensiblehealth.com for a month before doing the first flush. I am a single parent with two children, one in college nad one with medical/mental disabilities, and an infrequent (seasonal) income and no child support and I still found a way to get those herbs. I figured they're a lot cheaper than a hospital bill, even with insurance. Lori
Guest guest
Most likely your gallbladder is in a cramp. the gallbladder is a bladder surrounded by smooth muscle; when you eat something with fat it is signaled to contract in order to release the bile. If it cannot contract all the way and empty its contents, it can (thankfully for most people, it doesn't) continue to constrict and constrict and... If you can take some kind of anti spasmodic herb such as wild cherry bark, Jamaican dogwood bark, apricot (bitter almond) pit, or one of the viburnums, this may give you relief. It will not however get rid of the problem which is detritus in the gallbladder. If the pancreas is inflamed because of gallbladder problems flushing will be beneficial, not harmful (maybe not comfortable). I still haven't managed to do a flush. My ME and lack of money mean I've been having trouble getting my head round PRECISELY what I should be doing and I can't afford some of the things some flushes suggest. I'd like to check if I can do the following flush without any addition supplements or cleanses: No fat in the food I eat before 2pm; no food after 2 pm; dose of Epsom Salts at 6 pm and 8 pm; flush of olive oil and grapefruit juice at 10 pm; another dose of Epsom Salts at 6 am(? - see, I'm already getting confused!). I can't afford colonics or any herbs or supplements. I do have a jar of cleansing herbs (senna leaf, fennel, buckthorn and psyllium) which I'll be using regularly before I do the flush. Will this suffice? Alison PS While in the middle of this current attack, I am so tempted to move onto doing a flush because I've taken the Epsom Salts anyway and nothing (pessary analgesic, antacid, paracetamol) seems to be easing the pain. Am I right that this would not be wise because the gallbladder (and probably the pancreas) are inflammed and it needs to be back to normal before you should do a flush? Guest guest
No fat AT ALL the day of the flush, and correct - no food including liquid food (juice, etc.) after 2 p.m. If you eat ANY fat, including small quantities of milk in coffee, etc. you will not get out stones. Take it frm me - it just won't happen. Alison Orr <alison@...> wrote: I'm in the middle of another gallbladder attack. I still haven't managed to do a flush.
