Some people don’t like to use protein shakes, but I like one in the morning,

it seems to make my day start out well. Plus it is only a hundred

calories, I like the edge ones that you can get at Costco for about a buck

a piece, I get the ones (you have to look close) that are the no carb ones

or the one carb ones, and high protein, I get up late around ten, so I

nurse one in the morning, and by about two, am definelty ready for a real

meal. I think they have really aided my success. I weighed in today, and

am at 212 which puts me at a loss of 114 pounds. And the protein shakes

have helped. Best of luck to you too!

Best tasting protein shakes

I'm looking for advice on best tasting protein shakes for pre and post

op, and where to buy. Dr. Neal doesn't require pre op diet but I'd

like to prepare myself anyway. I've heard protein shakes are good for

the post op liquid phase anyway so I'd rather get some info. on it now.

I'd say that is like asking whether Starbucks or Seattles Best is the

best coffee, or Coke vs Pepsi, etc. Buy a small number, like one, of

several, and try them. There are some that have been raved about that

gag me, and vice versa.

I bought a box of Carnation Instant Breakfast packets ... used about 1/2 of

them. I think they

The champion whey stack chocolate is really good I am also very very

fond of the Nectar (comes in apple, peach, cherry, and others) I

dont do protien anymore but it is good for recovery. If you go to

www.wlssuccess.com you can order samples of every protien they sell.

I just went to www.wlssuccess.com and they had posted on the order

site that samples are no longer available. I really hated to see

that too.
