Guest guest
Well, with a tiny bit of guilt, only because of the nature of this wonderful group that I've been a member of for years, so far, I'm enjoying relief from all of my gallbladder symptoms after having it removed 10 days ago. For you new people, please realize that I flushed for many years with great success, 20 years almost, and it was only the past few that it became apparent that other measures were needed. This doesn't mean that the same thing will happen to you. The way I see it, I learned a LOT about healthy eating over those years, things I would have never cared about if it hadn't been for my gallbladder. I went to the doctor for my followup visit, he said my gallbladder was inflamed, the wall twice the normal thickness and the wall itself full of fluid, of course it has stones and sludge, and was basicly a mess. That didn't surprise me as it was at the point that it hurt when I ate almost anything. It is nice to be able to eat almost anything again, but there are certain foods I will simply not return to, because I've learned so much about healthy eating. I am a very thankful person...thankful for the many years that I was able to keep my gallbladder, and thankful that at the right time it was clear that it was time to go, and thankful that I am not yet experiencing any negative symptoms. I will probably flush on occasion, as I do believe stones are formed in the liver, perhaps even moreso now. As for symptoms I experienced before, pain in the back between spine and right shoulder blade after eating, one specific point in my lower spine hurt all the time, now no pain at all, nausea, diarrhea, gas (still have some of that as my body is readjusting, but much less), mood swings, etc. Now I have no pain at all. Even the incisions are healed. You'll know when it is the right time to have surgery if needed, your body has an unmistakable way of letting you know :-) But in the meantime, do all you can to learn from your body how to eat right, cleanse, etc. It's an exciting thing to be able to do so much good for youself! Guest guest
Thanks for the reply - you are right what I have learnt through out this whole experience is the importance of knowing what you put into your body affects it. this has been a very positive thing for me as I now eat a lot better and can feel the difference and when I get this sorted I will carry on with the things I have learnt throughout this Take care J
