No mystery.

Liver, liver, liver.

The oil filter is clogged. Flush it out (if you can). Liver protective and

supportive nutrients and cholegagues are probably in order.

Probably need to get more fats in the way of cold pressed raw oils. You cannot

flush the toilet if the water is turned off.

This is a serious issue. Continued weight loss is very important but the liver

is responsible for filtering out the unwanted mass and is overloaded.

Professional help would be well advised. Unfortunately standard medicine does

not deal with these issues outside of treating the symptom or cutting the

" offending " body part. They can do that with the gallbladder but not the liver.

Try and find a natural health practitioner in your area that understands the

process and has the means to evaluate you and your specific condition and goals.

You can try the flushes used by people in this group but must be careful.

Always, in all ways, -Dave

Subject: Mysterious condition here, help needed

DOB: 07/01/1972

HISTORY:

· No prior medical problems.

· Tonsillectomy at age 14.

Note: In 2004 I lived on a sailboat in Ft. Myers, Florida during

three hurricanes.

Note: Couple of weeks prior to the onset of these symptoms I

consumed very large quantities of very salty boiled peanuts.

Note: I am usually outdoor active and have been exposed to ticks,

mosquitos, etc.

Note (November of 2005): Weighing 335 pounds, inactive, having

headaches, stress, and pain in my lower back and right hip area I

began to diet and exercise.

One Friday I took a water bottle enema (just water) and felt very

uneasy afterwards. I went to sleep and woke up a couple of hours

later with the sudden urge to have a bowel movement. I passed out

when I got to the bathroom. Came to after a few seconds feeling

very, very dizzy and nauseous and continued to empty my bowels. Felt

very shaken and weak after this episode for a couple of weeks. Went

to the emergency room two days after this incident with EKG and lab

work showing negative results.

Since this episode, with continued episodes, I have had lab work,

fecal occult blood test, ultrasound of the abdomen, HIDA scan, upper

endoscopy, CT of the abdomen, liver functions, hepatitis scan, all

negative but for slight fatty liver and gallbladder.

On 03/31/06, I underwent a laparoscopic cholecystectomy with no

improvement of my condition.

Note: Since November 2005 I have lost 75 pounds.

RECENT HISTORY:

· Low-fat, high fiber diet.

· Walking throughout the day.

· AM bowel movements (3 typically, consisting of 1 hard, 1

soft, 1 loose).

· Sufficient hydration.

CURRENT MEDICATIONS:

· Colace 300 mg

· Fiber therapy, 15 pills a day.

· Zantac 300 mg a day.

SYMPTOMS:

· Generally localized pain (dull) under the bottom, right side

ribs.

· Pain radiating into back (right side), also up into mid to

right side of chest.

· Pain gets into abdomen as symptoms increase in severity,

abdomen feels inflamed, can feel my pulse in my abdomen.

· Constipation and heartburn follow.

· Pain in right side under ribs may subside but never goes

away completely.

· Lightheadedness comes on during these episodes and

intensifies when there is a noticeable movement of bowels in lower

abdomen.

· I also get very dizzy when I rise from a squatting position

or when I get hot. Noticed I do not sweat much when I get hot,

whereas I used to sweat alot.

· Pain can only be slightly relieved when I lay down on my

right side.

*These symptoms begin without provocation (increased activity,

especially with use of right arm and shoulder movement may

contribute) and last from three to seven days or more. I begin to

feel pretty good for a few days between episodes although the dull

pain in my right side never really goes away and my lightheadedness

when I stand from squatting doesn't go away.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts. I have been to a naturopath a

few times and taken her prescribed colon flush and milk thistle and

bidopholis or whatever it is called. I went with high hopes but have

seen no results. It is like everyone else in the health field is as

clueless as I am (can I get an amen?). Thanks everyone.

You are far less clueless than the majority of people in the health field. You

are tuned in to the situation by discomfort on a moment to moment basis. That

definitely accounts for something. Naturopathy while much less invasive than

allopathy doesn't have all the answers and sometimes is quite lacking. There is

a qualified individual out there for you, she just was not it. All the best,

and it is not luck. -Dave

no condition is clueless--we have found a ton of them hiding in blood

work---

get a male panel--all hormones

get a CBC---complete blood count

iron--vitamins are a good idea if you can--B's tested as well

Thyroid panel--FREE T3 and FREE t4 a must as well as autoantibodies--

they detect hashimoto's a from of thyroid disease--

have a weight problem is also an indication of low thyroid--

you can go on and get a parasite---stool sample as well--(really helps)

to see what you are absorbing and digesting.

Go for the works---and get them all back to our group--

or you can do your own homework--

I have links to labs and you can look everything up!!!!!!!

Pain could be from scar tissue resulting from surgry. If so, gentle

stretching may eventually relieve symptoms.

Lightheadedness and headaches may be result of blood pressure

problems. Blood pressure is very common in overweight people. I

would also get tested for diabetes and hypoglemia and lactose

intolerance. (Lactose intolerance may be " self-tested " by cutting out

all milk products for at least 2 weeks and then slowly introducing

milk/products back into your diet. This may relieve the light

headedness and " emergency evacuations " )
