did you find out why carbs give you acid indigestion?

I have the same issue, wondered if its just applies yop refined carbs or to

things like brown rice?

It's been trial and error for me. Years ago (about 20! when my digestive

system wasn't in such a mess) I used to get it badly after eating sausages,

which was probably the fattiest item in my diet at the time. It was when I

tried Atkins 5 years ago that I noticed the heartburn disappeared - and

Atkins is a fairly high fat diet. Now, every time I return to low carbing

(not Atkins specifically), it disappears again. I recently tried the GI

Diet (which is low fat) and was taking Xenical at the time (which requires

low fat if you don't want to have oily diarrohea!) and I still had

heartburn! So my conclusion has been that it's carbs that do it for me.

Then only the other day I found that article I quoted in my original post

and it verified my experience.

Hope that's not too long-winded a reply and that it makes sense!
