Guest guest Posted March 27, 2006 Report Share Posted March 27, 2006 Hi Everyone, I have a question and hope that someone can help with an answer. I had medical problems for about a year. I finally had a hida scan done and they said my gallbladder was bad and had to come out. Had my GB out in Sept of 05 and so far - so good. In 2005, my husband also started having med problems. We kinda put his off until we found out what was wrong with me and I had my surgery. than we started going from doc to doc. Test after test and finally 6 months later, they did a hida scan on him and his GB is bad and has to come out. I have never heard of a husband and wife both at the same time developing GB problems. Has anyone ever heard of this and/or any suggestions/ideas if there could be an underlying cause of why this happened. Could we have both contracted some type of virus or maybe (may sound crazy) some kind of poisiong or pathogenic agent? I just find it very very strange that we both (always healthy) get GBD at the same time... Any ideas here or am I over-reacting?
