Guest guest
I'd suggest putting off the invasive test for at least a few weeks, and see if you have normal BMs now. If the colonic didn't solve all the problems, then consider the test.
Guest guest
Keep doing colonics and save yourself the money and time of the investigative procedure until it is much more warranted. What you describe is dry constipation and impaction even though you have a bowel movement once a day. See what your bowel movements are like after a half dozen colonics. If your therapist does it, try ozone insuflication after you have a few and are pretty well un-impacted. That will get the bile flowing! -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: shefy7<mailto:shefy7@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Saturday, March 25, 2006 10:38 PM Subject: results of 1st colonic I had my first colonic today and it went pretty well. I was planning on getting a sigmoidoscopy done, but now I'm not sure. Why ? Because I do have a bm everyday, but it's usually small and flat. I thought maybe there is a polyp or tumor squeezing it....BUT...(don't read if you don't want to it's kind of gross....) During the colonic HUGE rock like balls came out in the tube...Gross I know...They were almost the size of golf balls. The therapist also said there was a lot of sediment bc it was sitting at the bottom of the tube...I started feeling flushed so I couldn't prop up to see...I only was able to do about 4 releases, she said I am really clogged up. So...I'm thinking that since these balls came out round and not flat like 50% of my bm's do...it couldn't be anything wrong with my colon... I'm just thinking after doing tons of research and a lot of tests that there is nothing wrong...I really don't want to have to go through this procedure...It's just that there of course is a risk involved, I know it's very rare and small, but still there is a risk...I value all your opinions so much, what do you all think? Any opinions on Zelnorm? Thanks and hope all of you are getting better! Guest guest
Shefy, I've never had any colonics, but if I ever have a need to I will. I've heard only woderful results from the people who have needed them such as yourself. If I were in your shoes, I'd follow the hydrotherapist's recommendation for frequency and amount of colonics before I would even think of doing anything else. Cleaning the environment of your colon can allow the tissue to recover from all sorts of problems. You may find you don't need the medical treatment you are considering. Of course, it's your decision, but this is just my opinion. Best Regards, Vince > > I had my first colonic today and it went pretty well.
