Guest guest
Hi, I am at my 4th flush and the first one was done without epsom salts at all. I didn't eliminate one single stone at the first flush although they told me based on ultrasound that have also " gallbladder sludge " . I aliminated that first flush only the green liquid which is the bile from liver. After a couple of days, I had terrible pains under the right rib, went immediately for a new ultrasound analysis and they told me that the green pearls gathered into the bile and they recommend me to get it out by surgery. I waited another two weeks with hard regime and repeated the flush this time with ES one before taking the olive oil and another one the next morning. It has results. I have just did today the fourth one and again around 100 green pearls came out. So, I am not aware if anyone managed without ES, but I would recommend you to have it. Guest guest
Completely emptying out the digestive tract through the loosening of stool is another of the Magnesium's (doesn't have to be Epsom salts) functions. You want to reduce drastically the retention time after the bile and detritus are released by the liver and gallbladder, thereby limiting the re-absorption and irritation caused by such. It is a very important part of the flush, unfortunately. The discomfort is caused by the body performing the function you are coercing it to do. -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: Ruth<mailto:Ruth811@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Sunday, March 26, 2006 5:56 AM Subject: Liver flush without epsom salts? Is there any way to do a liver flush WITHOUT using epsom salts? I don't have a problem with the taste- I mean, it tastes awful but I can tolerate that part. What I don't like is how it affects me. I already have very loose stools, and the ES make me very uncomfortable, with abdominal cramps, diarhea, and a sore rectum from the frequent, loose BMs. I know that the ES are supposed to open up the bile ducts so that stones don't get stuck, but I'm not sure I need to worry about that. On my liver u/s, they saw " gallbladder sludge " and " fatty infiltrations in my liver " which I assume means that any stones I have are very soft and small, and possibly it's mostly chaff that hasn't formed real stones. Would it work if I did a vegetable juice fast for a day or two, and then took the olive oil/grapefruit juice mixture before bed, and skipped the ES entirely? Guest guest
The first couple of flushes with Epsom Salts were uncomfortable including the burning because of all the backed up bile that's being released (I think). However, on my latest flushes it hasn't been as bad. Even so, I'd still rather have a few hours of cramps and loose, burning stools than end up in the hospital. It's a temporary uncomfortable. I just tend to waddle for a day while my posterior is healing and stay away from riding a bicycle :-). It does get better. Guest guest
Hi Ruth, There are some flushes that don't use Epsom Salts. I've never used any of them, but here is link you can look at and judge for yourself if it may be what you are looking for. http://www.relfe.com/gall_stone_cleanse.html Best Regards, Vince > > Is there any way to do a liver flush WITHOUT using epsom salts? > > I don't have a problem with the taste- I mean, it tastes awful but I > can tolerate that part. Guest guest
The burning is not so bad if you use a good ointment to soothe your bummmmmm. But it's awful taste of the ES that bugs me. I'll try adding some grapefruit juice to it and keep it chilled. ES and water gets worse tasting after each flush, for me. And nothing works as good to get the stones out. Guest guest
Hi Ruth, Hope you don't mind if I jump in here---as Dave said the epsom salts have a secondary funtion---that is cleansing the intestines to help prevent the toxic waste from being reabsorbed---s Moritz (The Amazing Liver Flish) suggests that magnesium citrate can be used as an alternative to ES, however maybe less effective--he also reccomends colonics are done before and after a flush to insure proper removal of the the toxic waste---perhaps you could try magnesium citrate and consider a colonic afterwards to make sure the waste isn't reabsorbed-- - HTH, Donna
