Liver health and diuretics?

My ENT just prescribed me a diuretic (triamterene HCTZ 37/25) for

Meniere's Disease (fluid in the ear causing vertigo) and when I

checked rxlist.com to research the medication, I found out

that " elevated liver enzymes " can be a side effect. I already HAVE

elevated liver enzymes- which is how I found my way to this group!

I'm going to call my PCP before proceding with this new medication,

but I'm wondering if anybody else had experience with taking similar

medications (or being told not to take similar medications) due to

liver problems.
