I am not sure what is happening with the candida, but have you thought it might be the grapefruit juice causing the problem? Do you think that maybe it is the toxins being dumped out of your liver depressing the immune system causing the candida to flare? Guest guest Posted March 11, 2006 Report Share Posted March 11, 2006 The symptoms are about 30mins after taking the epsom salts, I got white patches on the side of my gums and a little on my tongue. My bowel movements also smell absolutly awful the next day, not sure whether thats because the colon has been alkalized or if its due to old crud from the liver? My only thoughts were that magnesium is very alkaline and it all gets flushed down to the colon so I thought it must have that effect on the colon?
