Guest guest
Raw milk is great and is a great source of nutrients and enzymes. When you are pregnant, taking synthetic Mag or Cal in my opinion would be a big mistake. Don't do the this for that approach. Try eating the foods that contain Cal and Mag, as well as you kids. There are an abundant amount of veggies and meats that contain these two nutrients. As well, when you are pregnant taking a clean source of Cod Liver oil will have a profound positive effect on your babies nervous and immune system development. AS well, you can give it to you young ones as well. With Qi, Rubin, OTR/L EastWest Healing and Performance " Helping people to help themselves! I'm 8 weeks pregnant, so I'm needing extra calcium/magnesium. I also have four little ones who need magnesium as well. I also take Milk Thistle....my source is www.liversupport.com. I wondering if any of you can tell me if this MT is good or is there another source that is superior that I should be getting? Thanks for your help! Guest guest
I use magnesium oil purchased from the following site. You can use it in bath water and also rubbing it on your skin to absorb magnesium into your body. I really like it and feel it works great. Read the info on the web site and make your own decisions. www.globallight.net Elaine filumena <fil@...> wrote: Hi, We are raw milk drinkers here <CRINGE> (LOL) and I'm wondering if someone can suggest a magnesium supplement to use to help absorb the calcium from the milk. I have taken your advice to heart and I am researching foods that are high in Cal/Mag. I'm also taking CLO. Thanks for the suggestions! Tara Belderok P.S. Guest guest
Hi, I realize the importance of magnesium and have taken it in capsules for years. I also know that it is hard to absorb. My question is: would the magnesium oxide (oil which you soak in) be about the same as soaking in epsom salts? Epsom salts are magnesium chloride. Epsom salts are more easily obtainable and cheaper. Thanks, Lois Liz Sapareto <lizsapar@...> wrote: Magnesium oxide in same quantity as calcium citrate. Guest guest
Congrats on your pregnancy! My understanding is that the natural fats in whole milk help to make the minerals in milk more absorbable- it's lowfat and skim milks that are often not well absorbed. I've also heard that raw milk is in general much healthier than pasturized milk and all the nutrients are more bioavailable. If you and the children are all eating plenty of fresh, whole foods you probably don't need to worry about extra supplements.
