Guest guest
Unfortunately I got tempted to go to a party last night so I'm doing the flush tonight. I just ate some green beans and am drinking lots of apple juice. I'm still nervous about taking the epsoms though. But no pain no gain! I'll post out how it goes tomorrow! Best shefy " Meydrech, CN " <claudiascorner@...> wrote: >>>>>OK I'm doing the gb flush tonight after a loooong time. Why's it been so long? the last time i did it, nothing came out!! i ate veggies for a week with tons of apple juice and lots epsom salts and the right olive oil/lemon. But still nothing! I got scared so I think it's been almost 2 years.... Did anyone else ever have this? I wonder where all that oil goes?<<<< Hi Shefy, How did your flush go? I waited 5 years once before flushing after doing so regularly for about 8-10 years. I knew I really needed to, but one excuse after another kept me from it. That was a few years back, and I'm much more regular about it now. Sometimes I don't get much, last time, a few weeks ago, I passed so many stones, I will need to do this again soon..if I don't procrastinate again...haha! I am feeling so much better. Sometimes the stones are small, one time they were quite large, this last time there were so many, and all about the size of a pea, and some chaff. No one can ever convince me these are not gallstones, I've been at this for to long. As for where the oil goes, if not passed, it is absorbed and likely a reason why any aches and pains in your joints feel so good for a few days after. http://happynutritionist.com/gallbladder.html L. Guest guest
shefy, Before you take the epsom salts mix them with grapefriut juice. It makes them more pallatable and tends to not burn so much coming out the other end. It really helps the experience. I took 2 doses today but still no diarhea?!!?!?! I ate tiny baked red potatoes with apple juice and had lots of lemon in warm water. i feel my stomach " working " but no diarhea and no stones! anyone?!?! Guest guest
hi g murray, i think i've successfully conditioned myself to have a bad reaction to grapefruit for life. as well as oil. i did the flush last night and got the entire cup down within 5 minutes. i even kept my knee up to my chest for 30 minutes. but then i got up to pee and i vomited for over an hour, as well as had a little diarrhea, but no stones. i took another 2 doses today...but still no real diarhhea...should i do another one? anyone experience this? i have school tomorrow...crap! Guest guest
Did you shake the gallbladder and oil until it was totally blended? How much of each did you use? I do not have any help with keeping the oil/grapefruit juice down, but I have vomited during gallbladder attacks as the gallbladder goes into its contractions. It may be a natural reaction to try to assimilate the oil. I have no gall bladder now and since losing the gallbladder I have not thrown up during flushing. How much epsom salts did you use in each dose? Diarrhea does not have to happen but it usually does. As long as your intestines are clear when the flush happens and you do not retain the toxins that is the ideal. As long as you ingested the right proportions of epsom salts to relax the bile duct that is the important picture with the epsom salts. Were you well hydrated before the flush to start with. I know it says not to ingest anything before the flush but you have to stay hydrated and I do not restrict my water intake before the flush and I have very good results each time. Guest guest
as soon as i posted my message, i was running to the bathroom! not much, but i DID see very small stones. just a few....honestly i feel a whole lot better. i took 1/2 cup of each and shook it veryyyy well. i did the flush many times before and this is the first time i vomited. i think it may be due to my indigestion problems....anything i eat takes all day to digest. in fact i ate steamed green beans at 1 in the afternoon and when i vomitted around 11pm a few pieces came out...i was well dehydrated. i drank lots of apple juice and water. i guess it was just the thought of so much oil...and i kept tasting it even after it was down...oh well...it worked a little bit! i'm doing some research and i found a site that mentions using whipped cream...that may be better...!??!?! best shefy G & K Murray <kgtnm@...> wrote: Did you shake the gallbladder and oil until it was totally blended? Guest guest
Shefy, Have you tried betain HCl? It is stomach acid supplements from the health food store and it will help with digestion in the stomach. Also a very good digestive enzyme complex will also help. I have never used whipping cream. I have heard the whipping cream and berries flush and know people have wrote here before about having done it. check the archives. Guest guest
Hi Shefy, If I was going to only take a few pills. It would be pills to help digestion. You will not get any better until you get the digestion working. I would follow the simple test below with baking soda and water first thing in the morning to help you know wether you need more acid or if you have to much. Usually if digestion is too slow it is lack of acid. Conventional doctors will push antacids for heart burn. What causes heart burn is the lack of acid which then makes the food in the stomach build up and push the acid up the esophagus until it starts burning. This is due to the acid level not being high enough, in the stomach, to get the sphincter to open and let the food pass on to the small intestine. G Murray see below: http://www.drdebe.com/BAKESODA.htm STOMACH ACID ASSESSMENT For this test you will need some fresh baking soda. The purpose of this test is to give us a rough indication as to whether your stomach is producing adequate amounts of hydrochloric acid. The most scientific test for assessment of hydrochloric acid levels is the Heidelberg test. Gastrocaps can also be used to measure hydrochloric acid levels with good accuracy. Both these methods are somewhat cumbersome however, and involve a visit to a doctor for you to swallow a special capsule, which is used to measure acid levels. Hydrochloric acid is important for digestion and absorption of many nutrients. When hydrochloric acid is lacking, malnutrition results. Also, because hydrochloric acid kills many bacteria, yeasts, and parasites, its insufficiency is associated with greater incidence of gastrointestinal infection. Hypochlorhydria (inadequate hydrochloric acid production) is linked to not only gastrointestinal symptoms, but also to autoimmune diseases and degenerative diseases of all kinds. To perform this test: mix one quarter teaspoon of baking soda in eight ounces of cold water, first thing in the morning, before eating or drinking anything except water. Drink the baking soda solution. Time how long it takes to belch. Time up to five minutes. If you have not belched within five minutes <http://www.drdebe.com/REVLWHCL.htm> stop timing anyway. If your stomach is producing adequate amounts of hydrochloric acid you should probably belch within two to three minutes. Early and repeated belching is consistent with excessive stomach acid. Belching results from the acid and baking soda reacting to form carbon dioxide gas. The Heidelberg or Gastrocap tests can be employed for confirmation of the results of this test. Guest guest
One suggestion - use " light " olive oil - you probably won't throw up - also rather than drink it all down quickly, drink it through a straw and take 15 minutes to get it down instead of 5! Take just a few small swallows at a time and you can even rinse out your mouth with apple juice (don't swallow it) between series of swallows - I am sure you will be successful. Also try mixing a few drops of peppermint oil in it. I bought some from the health food store. It's a bit expensive, but a very little goes a long, long way, so go easy on it. It settles your tummy some and eases nausea. Just use about 2 drops of the stuff. Susie
