Major NSV

[Guest guest]

As some of you know, I'm a very serious nature photographer, and

there are two places a photographer dreams of – Kenya and the

Galapagos Islands. One will be my next major NSV next week! I'm

leaving early Monday for 2 weeks in the Galapagos Islands, then a

week in the Amazon jungle. I can't wait – and I surely need a break

after this week.

It will be 3 weeks of very serious hiking, diving, kayaking and

pictures. The place we stay at in the jungle is a 30-mile hike in,

after a 2 hr plane ride and a 2 hrs paddling a dugout canoe. The

time in the Galapagos Islands will be on a boat.

This is a very major NSV for me, since there is NO WAY I could have

done this 3 years ago, before I lost my weight. My 3rd " Bandivesary "

was March 25, and I've been too busy to write the thankful post I

wanted- maybe after I'm back.

Anyway – take care of yourselves and each other, and I will be

leaving a little " B " somewhere on a hidden rock in both the jungle

and the Islands, , as I did at the top of Half Dome, to represent all

Bandsters who are reclaiming their lives to live their dreams. I'll

be back April 29th, hopefully in one piece and with great stories and

photos to share. Off to play with the blue-footed boobies andt

tortoises. … SandyR

PS: My house-sitter/cat sitter/secretary/friend will continue to

quickly ship out the CD's as ordered, so there will be no delays on

receiving them, if ordered.
