Hi everyone

I got banded on the 20th, so while I'm healing and looking at how to

lose the weight. I plan to exercise and track my food.Has there been

anyone who hasn't exercise and lost weight? My thing is I get real

gunho about exercise and burn myself out.

thanks

Colleen,

I am embarrassed to say I dont exercise at all....I have lost 127 lbs without

exercising...I am 3 lbs from goal and if I got off my fat butt and hit the gym,

I would be at goal by now!!

Hi....

Well, one of the things that the band helps us learn is moderation...at least in

some parts of our lives.

Hopefully it will also teach you to be less " extreme " in other areas of your

life, too.

Most of us are pretty compulsive folks, so if an hour in the gym, three days a

week, then we figure that four hours in the gym seven days a week is better.

Right? Well, as you know, it isn't. I'd schedule some time, and have that

time with a limit on it.

Also, be sure that you vary your exercise. You need both aerobic exercise

(walking, water aerobics, etc) and also muscle building exercise.....like

lifting weights.

You'll do fine....just don't over do it. Really.

Promise?

I never complain, never ask why, please don't let my dreams run dry....
