Can we assume that a maintenance dose of iodine would protect the body from

fluoride contamination in the first place?

That certainly seems to be what Abraham and Brownstein are implying. Zoe

you take the dose that is right for you. IMO 12.5mg is too low a dose

but I guess it's fine if you feel good on it. yes take iodine in the

morning.
