Guest guest
I can eat them, and know many can. Like all other things, there's only ONE way to find out. Try them. Be careful. Nothing is too hard if it is well chewed. The things that many have trouble with are things that are stringy, have skins that don't really break up, and so forth....plus things that are " sticky or gummy " like pasta or bread or biscuits. But some can do those too. Yes, we're all different. Wednesday, September 15, 2004, 9:02:39 AM, you wrote: n> I used to enjoy eating a couple of baby carrots as a snack. Guest guest
I've eaten raw baby carrots almost daily since banding, and have had no problem. with the exception of breads and such that turn to glue, i can and do eat EVERYTHING, as long as it is chewed very well, and have had no problems. sandy r > I used to enjoy eating a couple of baby carrots as a snack. Guest guest
Hi , I eat them, but at the *end* of my meal. Or alone as a snack. I chew them really really well, but they still fill me up pretty quick. In fact, if I am really trying to *avoid* another snack, eating 2-3 baby carrots will make certain I can't eat anything else. But they do go down, just slowly. I have never had them get stuck. Like Dan says though, it's all personal so YMMV :-) Betty > I used to enjoy eating a couple of baby carrots as a snack. Guest guest
NANCY, Just take small bites and chew the carrot up to a pulp b efore swallowing. If beef jerky is okay if chewed up to a pulp then raw baby carrots should definitely be alright. I enjoy them with fat-free ranch dip or guacamole dip.
