I am following up on my message from a few weeks ago when I discovered

that I had lost all restriciton in my band. Under fluoro it was

determined that the leak was from the band itself. I have to have

surgery to replace my band.

I had to self pay for my first band placement, so I was thrilled when I

was told that Blue Cross is covering it this time.

I have also been in contact with Inamed and they want to examine my

damaged band after it is removed for evaluation. I am asking them to

pay for the portion not covered by my insurance.

Thank you, Sandy, for posting the information about Dr. Kuri's patient

with a similar problem to mine. I forwarded your email both to Cedars,

my Doctor and Inamed. Hopefully that will help my case. You provide

such a wonderful caring place to learn and share about our bands.
