Guest guest
I hope everything works out ok Owen > I am sending this mass mailing so if you receive it more than once, I am sorry. I am on no mail on all list. > > My name is Deborah Bowman and most of you may not know me because I do not write in very often. Our 17yo son is in kidney failure. He has been in the hospital since Monday 12-22 and has received 3 pints of blood and 3 days (Wed, Thur and Fri) on dialysis so far. Wed they put a temp catheter in his groin area to transfer the blood from the machine and back to his body and today he had sugery and they put in a port in the artery in this neck which is permament. He will be on dialysis until his Creatinine level is 1.2. When he went in Monday it was 21 and they had never seen a patient with one at 21 and it should be 1.2. As of today it is 15. He has extremely high blood pressure, that it what sent us to the doctor office and then on to the E.R. and was admitted. Monday 12-29, he will have another dialysis and a kidney biopsy. This biopsy will take a few days to receive back and to find out what is going on. It looks like he will be on dialysis for an unknown time and if it comes to a kidney transplant we will cross that bridge when we get there. > > My dh and I spend 24 hours a day with him, he sleeps one night, I sleep the next. My parents stay from 7am-9pm and come home and sleep. We live in the county about 45 minutes away and that is too far. They finally talked me into coming home today and taking a home shower and I am washing the clothes I have been wearing. > > Now the reason I am writing: We are asking for all prayers. From you if your feel lead to, we also will accept you thoughts for our son. Also tomorrow is Sunday and you will be going to church. Please announce it at your church and have a special prayer. No matter what your religious choice if you feel in your heart you can do this for us. I want to thank all of you. I will never know how far this will reach and who will be praying but our Father will and he hears our prays. > > You may know me as rbdb2154@p... I no longer use or rdjs@b... good at this time.
