Guest guest Posted February 22, 2006 Report Share Posted February 22, 2006 My doctor has prescribed 10mg of Lexapro for PMS symptoms - cramping, irregular cycles, mood swings. I have read through a lot of the recent posts and I understand Lexapro is mostly for SSRI assistance but many have mentioned other uses. Side effect wise, would you kindly give me your honest opinion of what you have found, especially with regard to sexuality (the pamphlet says sexual dysfunction is a possible side effect). I know other medicines can cause diffeent side effects so if there are any of you out there that are just on Lexapro, would you kindly give me your input. I am honestly afraid to start this medication - have never been on an SSRI before - with the fear that I'll have to exchange PMS symptoms for loss of desire, etc. Thank you so much for any input.
