Unless we act, the global AIDS pandemic will claim the lives of 68

million people by 2020, devastating societies all over the globe,

particularly in Africa. This holocaust can and must be stopped.

We are asking each guest to consider giving $250 or become a

monthly donor of the Global AIDS Alliance at $25 per month for one

ABOUT THE GAA:

The GAA aims to hasten an end to the global AIDS crisis through

mobilizing citizen awareness, increased funding, and improved

policies to help stop the epidemic. Its mission is to collaborate

with partners on a dynamic Campaign to Stop Global AIDS. The

GAA supports mobilization to stop global AIDS by:

Analyzing: Evaluating data and formulating policy options in

the fight against global AIDS.

Informing: Providing the results of this analysis to

organizations, the media, and legislators.

Catalyzing: Encouraging and assisting organizations of all

sizes and interests, as well as legislators, to act decisively on

this information.

The Global AIDS Alliance works closely with diverse partner

organizations, including major religious organizations, humanitarian

agencies, human rights groups, and AIDS activist groups.

The GAA is playing a critical role in building a broad-based

mobilization on AIDS. It is fostering the development of new policy

initiatives and collaborative advocacy campaigns. The GAA is also

promoting strong principles of accountability in the campaign to

stop global AIDS.

The Global AIDS Alliance is committed to an aggressive campaign

that says it's time to:

Donate the Dollars:

Ensure that wealthy countries and others provide $10-15 billion each

year to effective AIDS programs.

Treat the People:

Ensure that people living with AIDS have affordable, reliable access

to AIDS medications.

Drop the Debt:

Ensure that countries fighting HIV/AIDS receive debt cancellation to

free up funds to fight the disease.
