Hi. Thank you for your sweet comments. I had never looked at this as an NSV but

hey, why not? Ok, so, I had this really different NSV. My huge stomach use to be

hard as a rock. Now it has softened up to where I can actually move it around.

How have you done since surgery? As I told you in Mexico...I am really happy for

you because you have this great tool available so that you can keep your weight

loss and have a healthier life. I sure wish this had been available to me before

I got to this size.....

I met this cool woman in the waiting room and she had a very high BMI, yet she

absolutely glowed. (I forgot to ask her if she sold beauty products. She was

modelic, is that a

word?. . . beautiful.) She proudly lifted up her shirt from her wheelchair and

lifted her tummy with both hands to show us how it had been softening over the

past year! That was her WOW experience and it was as wonderful for her as

getting into a size 12 or something. Her attitude was a-mazing. Then, she

complimented me on taking this big step to avoid more weight roller-coastering!

What a dear!

Hi Jane and anyone who happens to be reading this, It is one week since I was banded by Dr. Aceves. This week has been almost surreal. For one thing, it all happened so fast, and it seems kind of like a dream. I have to tell myself: You are only seven days post-op. Boy! This week went fast. I told folks at work and was met with a lot of curiousity and support this week- which was so nice. In fact, there are three women that are seriously considering having it done now. I think it's going to be kind of like email. At first, folks saw it as weird, then, suddenly it became a norm. The liquid diet has gone well. I've only been VERY SAD about missing food a few times. And when that "hit," it scared me. I longed for (a whole) pizza, which is my favorite thing to eat. Thank goodness for the boards. I read about "food funerals" and was prepared to have to go to some. I am presently trying to arrange to have a fill back in Mexicali in mid-April. . . We'll see. I want to bring my husband to see the place. I think I want to share it with him a bit more than he wants to go, but he'll go and I know he'll be delighted. I would love to go sit by that pool at the Lucerne too. How are you since your fill? Do you FEEL your FILL? It was fun to hear back from you today Jane. Jane Moss <joy4jane66@...> wrote: ,Hi. Thank you for your sweet comments. I had never looked at this as an NSV but hey, why not?
