Guest guest
Hi Ted, I am a full fledge " Puter Geek " and have had no problems so far, I don't recommend removing your transmit coil and attaching it to the side of you computer anywhere near the hard drive (don't laugh to hard you would not believe some of the stupid things I have seen users do). The only minor irritation I know of is CRT type monitors (the old style with the TV type tube) can cause a hum when you use the tCoil. You can also get the hum from florescent lighting and other sources as well so it is not just a computer thing. The CI can't do anything to the computer and other than the monitor hum I can’t think of anything that a computer specifically would do to a CI. Of course a CI is really a computer anyway so they are pretty compatible, just remember all the normal precautions, static, moisture etc. and you have nothing in particular to worry about.
