Hi ,

If you are going to be staying in a hotel, ask the front desk for the

ADA kit for the deaf. They'll have a big vibrating alarm clock, doorbell

knocker, flasher that works when someone knocks at your door, flashing

smoke alarm, and so forth. If they DON'T have them, they are in

violation of the ADA. Always good to ask for these accommodations when

you make reservations.

I've used the small vibrating alarm myself. You might consider

attaching it to your pajamas, since that should wake you up.

It's probably next to impossible to buy one of these things at a local

store. They are so specialized you almost need to go to the mail order

places.

Subject: Recommended Travel Vibrating Alarm Clock?

Does anyone have any recommendations on a traveling alarm clock that

has a good vibrations? I used one a few years ago which was smaller

than a wallet and the darn thing could barely wiggle under my

pillow ... I slept through it many times.

Anyways, I'm leaving for a business trip in a few days and need to

purchase a good travel vibrating alarm clock that works well - I'd

appreciate your input.

Thanks in advance,
