Guest guest Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 Good thing I agree with that, . If you've read the postings to various forums the past week or so, you'd swear I had the manners of a barnyard critter. Would you believe I have volunteered to sew habits for a cloistered order of nuns near me? Sister Death took their seamstress. I got a letter telling me this, and I'm thinking, " How many people sew these days? " and of those who sew, how many are in a cloistered convent? So I phoned, told them I'd be glad to help them out and perhaps even teach some of the nuns there how to sew. Used to teach sewing, too. But I'll have to watch my mouth around a bunch of nuns, I think!! The Original Ted, Trust me, the Original is NOT more polite than you are, or anyone else. LOL You just have to hang around with her a while. Quote
