Guest guest
Howdy folks! This may seem like a dumb question to the experts, but after the CI surgery, can you wear HAs in the ears that got the implant? This is before hookup. Guest guest
hi , No you can't. It would be of no help to you since your residual hearing is probably destroyed forever but you will gain so much more that you will forget very soon about it. Good luck with your next activation. Guest guest
You can give it a try, just don't cause any irritation to the surgery site that is trying to heal. There are people that report retaining some residual hearing after the implant. It just depends on the type of array and how the surgeon implants it. Doug > Howdy folks!
