Sharon.....Hair?? You had hair? I still don't have very much hair.

Part of my trouble was I received an entire half shaved head. Of

course, the rest was left alone and it was sort of a half Mohawk. I

had the hairdresser trim the " long " side to more closely resemble the

quarter-inch fuzz on the surgery side. It's still somewhere between

a quarter and a half inch in length. Oh well....if the guys can do

it, so can I. I'm really liking this new shorter hairdo....very neat

and quick to comb! Have been hunting just the right magnet to

decorate my headpiece so everyone will know I'm a girl.

processors in my hair. Sometimes just pushing up on the back of the

processors would relieve the pressure.

Gayle,

It sounds like your surgeon shaved off quite a bit of hair! I have waist

length hair. When I saw my surgeon last, he jokingly said that with all of

my hair, I won't have any problem hiding my incision. <grin> I'm hoping he

won't shave that much off but then again, if it means being able to hear

again, I'll go bald if I have to.

Surgery date: 12/22/04 (25 days and counting!)

Activation date: 1/18/05

What I did was to get that tape that sticks to itself (look in the bandage

section) and wrapped that around the arm of the glasses. It made a

difference because without it I couldn't wear my glasses. Of course hubby

said I looked like a nerd :<
