Guest guest
one of my classes at college is computer-led instruction. We all know, hearing and reading along is best way to memorize what you learned rather than just by reading. Here my problem, if I use the cord and plug it directly from computer to my processor, it gives me the famous electromagnetism buzz. So that is out of question to use direct connect. I can hear via those TINY earphone, but it keep slipping away from my processor. The thought of asking for OVERSIZED earphone scares me, bringing back horrid memory of childhood days. if i do it from home, no problem, but i would DIE if in front of other kids. ideas pls!!!! Doesnt work on direct connects. Leave it set to Mic. Exactly where did you plug the cable into on the computer? computer don't have speaker, each student have own computer so it comes with headphone, its those tiny one that you often see with walkmans. If i plug the cable in, it will have to be same plug that is used for earphone/speaker,, no matter what computer, I still run into static problems. M won't let me hear, T do, but with static. My daughter suggested after I posted that maybe i can get one of those one ear phone, but " tape " or " clip " it to next to the micophone on processor. Its a thought. this class has no lecture, it is totally computer-led instruction, at your own pace. very much like computer lab. Lee

Guest guest
Lee, You can use any earphones then. And for that, you can use t coil. if you have the same problem on all of the computers, request an accomodation and get it fixed. *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* I have seen the truth and it makes no sense. & Gimlet (Guide Dawggie) Portland, Oregon N24C 3G 8/2000 Hookup rlclark77@... http://home.comcast.net/~rlclark77/
