i have two different program settings first is volume and the second is

sensitivity program

which i use in noisy situations like a restaurant when i switched to

program 2 and adjust i can hear the person i with clearly while the background

noise is so much less

i really love this sensitivity program .... before i would struggle in any

noisy place now i can relax and understand what people are saying

Hi !

Good luck with your mapping next week. I'll be interested in

reading how it goes. I also want a better program for noise. My

favorite program serves me well most days (A volume ACE 900 map with

the edges of the highs and lows rounded off); but there are times at

school and the bowling alley and other places where I could use a

better program. Good luck to you!

Hi !

Thanks for sharing! I am getting more and more motivated to try a

Sensitivty program. I really like my ACE 900 volume map (edges of

highs and lows are rounded off) most of the time; but do need

something better for noisier situations so have been thinking about

trying a Sensitivity map. I tend to like hearing EVERYTHING. I

can't stand autosensitivity so never even gave Sensitivity much

thought until this year.

Thanks posting!

Oh, that is a good idea, ! Hmm, I wonder if I wait until

Fall, would my audie come to my kindergarten room with me and test.

LOL He'd probably wish he had a noise program himself if he did.

Seriously, good luck with the noise program.
