Hi Alice , and snoopy

Ok you guys..I have done my research!!LOL!I have been listening to my favorite

song and singer for the past 15 minutes..He'll have to Go by Jim Reeves...this

was a CD on my Boom box

i have been enjoying music for almost 7 years without headphones or a patch

cord..even while driving .It just was the mention of turning your Sen. way down

that got me wondering about my map.Alice..do you turn it as far down as it will

go?Here are the results of my independant research!!LOL!!

With my N22 alone I have to have the Sen. at 3 before it sounds good

With my N24C..3G..I began to hear it at 1 and one half but have to bring it up

to 3 and one half..where it is set all the time..to really get full benefit of

the music and lyrics.

With both I turn my n22 down to 2 and one half and my N24C down to 3.And Wow..it

fills my entire head!!

Ok..now another question..

Does your sen setting on your 3G's gradually get louder ?I have a short

space..from 3 to about 4 where it is good..then it takes a big jump to where it

is way too loud.I do see my audiologist next Friday as he feels that it needs

attention..

Love Dora

Re: Dora

This is interesting. Listening to music again be great Right now, if

I know what I am listening to, I can " hear " it - the brain supplies

the memory of the song - but if I don't know what is playing, I don't

percieve it. It is just noise, and if I don't know the lyrics, its

gibberish.

A & E cable had a Neil Diamond concert on about a year ago that was

live and captioned. Boy, I was glad it was captioned but because it

was live, the lyrics were behind where the audio was. I taped it, and

now that I have the lyrics, I can put them where they are suppposed

to be in my brain without looking at the captions.

PBS runs fund-raising concerts of R & B and early rock and roll that

also are captioned but since they are taped, the lyrics are where

they are supposed to be.

Looking forward to enjoying music again,

Pete

It's amazing how much of favorite music from back when I was a

teeenager have lyrics I had completely wrong when they were playing

on the raido. So, I guess the instrumental music itself, and the

singer's vice were what I was enjoying.

Hi Dora,

I was not at the convention last year. I'm still fairly new to this

group and SHHH. I joined the Nashville SHHH group recently and have

to say, it's the most wonderful group of people. I look forward to

seeing them all every month even though the drive for me is 2 hours

and 15 minutes. I know there are closer groups in my area...an hours

drive from my home, but the Nashville group is like family to me.

Almost like a family reunion.

Doing well with my surgery here and thanks for your post and greeting.
