Guest guest Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 I am the same person I have always been and have never felt depressed about losing my hearing. I DO feel terribly isolated though and there are family members who complained that I did not attend a family reunion...because what else did I have to do? Excuse me I didn't like the reunions when I would hear and could not think of a good excuse to skip them...now that I cannot visit, really why should I go? THe discussions haven't changed in 30 years and the last line of the previous year's minutes...and a good time was had by all! See, what have I missed! Debra Quote
