Guest guest
Hi there, While I'm not positive where you would find a harness for hearing aids, I know the cochlear implants for children who wear the body processor has a harness with it. I think Cochlear sells them separately. You could check at www.cochlear.com and find their products page for body processors. I do know several parents have made pouches by sewing them right onto childrens t-shirts or soft harnesses sewed to fit if you sew or know of someone who does this could be an option. There are some sites online that sell harnesses for body hearing aids too. Just do a search for harness for body hearing aids. I saw several sites doing a quick search. Hope this helps some. I haven't seen hearing aid harness since I was a kid, last time I had to do with it was in late 1960. I went online to look for it and couldn't find any, however, don't give up hope, it quite easy to make. Didn't your hearing aid provider offered harness with your son's hearing aid? Ok.. i went online for a while, I am not able to find but here the idea! If you live in USA, get one of those child safety harness, you may have seen those at fairs, Disneyland, etc where parents had their child on leash..... use that, sew on a pouch and VIOLA, a harness for your son's hearing aid... Sorry, I tried. Lee
Guest guest
Contact your local school distruct auidologist, many districts still have stacks of them for the auditory trainers used in the classroom. They may know where to purchase such an item On Wed, 4 Feb 2004 2:03am, spottedlee@... wrote: > In a message dated 2/3/2004 7:43:14 PM Pacific Standard Time, > tramav@... > writes: > Does anyone have any suggestions on where I might be able find a > harness or pouch for my 3 month old son's body worn aid? > > I haven't seen hearing aid harness since I was a kid, last time I had > to do > with it was in late 1960. > > I went online to look for it and couldn't find any, however, don't give > up > hope, it quite easy to make. > > Didn't your hearing aid provider offered harness with your son's > hearing aid? > > Ok.. i went online for a while, I am not able to find but here the > idea!
