Recently banded

Hello, my name is Marsha and I was just banded by Dr. Aceves on

04/19/06. It was my first and only surgery ever and I was very

impressed and pleased with Dr. Aceves, his staff and the facilities.

I also had the opportunity of meeting many wonderful women who were

on the same journey as I; Kyla, Tammy I., Jen, , Stacey,

Nydia, Ginger and my friend and co-supporter Tammy A. was with me.

You gals were great, I am so glad I was privilidged to share this

experience with you all.

I have lost 5 pounds since leaving for surgery.

I had been feeling very well. I too have diarhea now and plan to use

liquid immodium for it as soon as I can get to the store and get

some. This morning I went for a walk and got a little over a quarter

of a mile from home and started to have some pain just below the

left mid-section of my belly and turned around to come home, it felt

kinda like a strain and it has continued the last couple hours but

only when I am standing or walking, it goes away when sitting or

lying down and it feels better if I hold my belly in with my hands

when I am standing.I am resting now and hopefully it will get better

as the time goes on. Has anyone had this experience? Should I e-mail

Dr. Aceves and ask them about it?

Other than this all has been well.
