Guest guest
I cannot believe I am 22 lbs from losing 200 lbs!!! I am just flabbergasted at the amount of weight I have lost. It's been such a VERY VERY VERY LONG TIME, since I weighed 192lbs. I think I was like in 11th grade when I was wearing the same size clothes that I am now. I cannot believe that I had let my life go down the drain by adding so much weight onto my body. I have to say, I am ashamed of wasting all these years when I could have been living, but I know that I cannot get those years back, that all I can do is live for today and hopefully be around for alot of tomorrows. I am contemplating doing one thing that I've always wanted to do, that is to reserve a spot ofr Bicycle Adventures and do a tour. I am looking to doing the Oregon Coast tour in July as a part of my return to living again. Today, as I was working out I seen the commercial for the Lapband and I just grinned from ear to ear, I wanted to shout...I'm living proof that the Lapband does work!!!! I rejoice in my victories and I advise to those of you getting the band that you do the same. Do something nice for yourself, even if it's 2 lbs or 5 lbs or 200 lbs, have fun and notice the small things that you can accomplish. I loved my first NSV, which was my belly not hitting the steering wheel. As for Plateaus, you will have them so please try to be patient, though patience is tested. I know I get freaked out when I don't lose weight, but just give it time If anyone is interested in Bicycle Adventures go to www.bicycleadventures.com, you can order a free catalog. I know I've had this coming to my house for over 10yrs, always dreaming of doing it but when you are close to 400lbs it is not a reality, but now it is!
