You just gave up green tea? I just bought a couple boxes. lol I went to

se a chiropractor and he is helping me to get off my drugs. He wants to

start me on Omega 3 or fish oils? He had some results from a study done in

Germany with Omega 3 oils and there were wonderful results. They did this

study with surgerical patients and people with chronic pain like me and it

was shown to decrease the pain and inflammation and helps the liver and I

think the kidneys work better. That's good news for me and my awful back

pain. If I take that I can start to take less of the Lortab. I'll need

something to help me sleep though. How does green tea help you sleep if it

has caffeine in it? I was only going to drink it in the morning instead of

my coffee, or during the early part of the day. I only have one cup of

coffee a day. Things are looking better for me so far. No more shakes from

the withdrawals of the morphine. YAY!!!! I hate those. I don't sweat too

much anymore and I can go a whole day without pain meds. I only have to

take them at bedtime so I can sleep without pain. I'm doing so much better

I'm so happy. Wow, I feel so much more alert now. Even my son said I speak

more clearly and noticed I get up earlier in the morning. I'm not spending

the the morning in bed still sleepy from the pills. I'm starting to feel

like I have more of a life now. I still hurt a lot though so maybe those

omega 3's will help with that. My diet has changed so much too. More

fruits and raw veggies, not really to much red meat at all. Lots more fish

and chicken. I have cut out most all of the dairy too along with most of

the salt and sugars. (except the sugar I get with the fruit) I drink a lot

more lemon water. I love it. I rarely drank soda before but now I don't

drink it at all. So I'm improving slowly but surely. I just wanted to

thank everyone here for all the support. Especially you Don. Thanks so

much. I'm on my way.

Lynn

Rica,

Plant-based digestive enzymes is something else you may want to

consider for inflammation. Take several with, and between, meals.

Get some that are blended with a whole food (which will supply

minerals) - enzymes don't work without minerals.

Carol -

A natureopath I know told me about a month ago that digestive enzymes

would not work against inflammation. She suggested a type of enzyme

for inflammation, and I am sorry but the type name isn't coming to

me. The two brand names she recommended were " Zymitol " and " Zyflamend "

According to the label, Zymitol contans MSM, G+ Protease, Bromelain,

Papain, Amylase, Lipase, Serrapeptase, Fulvic Acid, Magnesium Citrate, Rutin.

Ingrediants for Zyflamend are Rosemary, Turmeric, Ginger, Holy Basil,

Green Tea, Hu Zhang, Chinese Goldthread, Barberry, Oregano, Baikal Skullcap.

I've found MSM and tumeric work great (along with the liquid glucosomine) Landes <L@...> wrote: Carol -A natureopath I know told me about a month ago that digestive enzymes would not work against inflammation. The enzymes for inflammation are called systemic enzymes. You have to take them far from meals.
