Guest guest
Lee yep i was advised to repeat what i thought i heard too also to talk out loud to myself especially when i was having difficulties between letter sounds sounds of " R " and " W " i was having a hard time so during the day i would make up nonsense sentences like Ron won really wacky rally wild roads it was to train my brain to tell the difference honestly i think it helped i still find myself doing it there are many many words i never heard before and i used to mispronounce then now when i hear the correct pronunciation i tend to say it out loud again and again so i often look like a crazy lady walking around but it works susan

Guest guest
Lee, This is great advice! I'm going to try it myself. I do the same thing--say " what " automatically, without really trying to process what I heard. Sorry I don't have any tricks for breaking the habit. If you get any good ones, please share!
