Guest guest Posted November 5, 2006 Report Share Posted November 5, 2006 EASY APPLIE PIE by Alissa Cohen CRUST: 2 cups sunflower seeds 1 cup raisons, soaked 1/2 applie FILLING: 7 apples 8 dates, pitted and soaked 1/2 cup currants (or raisons) 1/2 lemon juiced 1 teaspoon cinnamon FOR CRUST: Blend crust ingredients in a food processor and form into a pie pan. FOR FILLING: 1. In a food processor, blend 2 applies with the dates until smooth. 2. Pour into a bowl and set aside. 3. In food processor, pulse chop 4 apples into tiny pieces. Remove from food processor and place in bowl with the dates. 4. To the date mixture, add the cinnamon, lemon and currants and mix well. 5.
