Guest guest
I love Elaina Love's recipes. www.purejoylivingfoods.com She has newsletter too. Here's a goodie recipe I am going to try. I don't think I have dates, but I have raisins I believe. Looks simple and glad I don't have to use my dehydrator either. Apple Granola by Elaina Love Makes 5 cups 1 cup soaked almonds (1/2+ cup before soaking) 6 soft, medium sized dates 3 medium apples or pears 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg In a food processor, combine almonds, dates and seasonings. Pulse until coarsely chunked. Add the fruit and pulse again until the mixture is still chunky, but in finer pieces. Mix in the raisins and any soft fruit. Serve immediately with almond milk or store in a glass jar for up to 4 days. ====== Enjoy. Carolg
Guest guest
If you have any persimmons, dehydrated persimmons can easily be substituted for dates.
