Guest guest
Well, it looks like DH's 'problem' is gone, for now anyway. :-) I will suggest that he get screened for diabetes, Janet, thank you for that suggestion. I also want to thank everyone for their concern, encouragement, and information (via this list & offlist). It really helped me a lot. :-) Jan
Guest guest
Curious, but don't have to say, what changed the "problem" status. Life is funny. Guest guest
It is a fantastic list Jan. I did not contribute anything to this problem solving, but I watched in awe as the group dug in for the solution. Guest guest
DH must have hurt his lower back a few months ago, and then Completely aggravated it with the new weight lifting stuff he was doing. He went to the chiropractor twice in one week and the same segments were out both times... and one of those areas has to do with the reproductive system. Sooo... once he got adjusted, used cold packs on his back, rested, and quit the weights (for now), he started getting back to normal. He's still feeling it in his back, and plans on going back to the chiro first thing next week, so he's not overdoing anything yet. I'm still going to add some herbal supplements that are good for men into what he already takes, and I told him about Janet's suggestion to check into the diabetes thing (which he thought was probably a good idea since it runs in his family~ which I didn't know before! Several blood relatives have one level of diabetes or another, not just his mom.) Thanks again~ Jan Curious, but don't have to say, what changed the "problem" status. Life is funny. Guest guest
HI Jan, I'm so glad things are "working" out. I am a total believer in chiro for myself and have had great results including a stubborn undetected frozen shoulder that two other chiros were unable to diagnose and then along returned my old chiro. It was a year and pricey to see results, but they came and saved me from what I never considered--surgery. Keep us posted. Hugs, carol.
