Guest guest
2) get to the health food store and buy plant based digestive enzymes that contain the following: Protease, Lipase, Amylase and Cellulase. Take with every meal. These can help tremendously with bloating after eating. I've recommended digestive enzymes to many people at work and they do the trick every time. I used to hand them out like candy...it seems so many people have bloating, gas, discomfort, etc. after eating. Finally they bought their own! lol! Guest guest
This is what I have been able to get my mother to agree to try: 1) Increase fiber to 30gms per day minimum by eating 100% bran cereal *1 and 1/2cups daily* 2) get to the health food store and buy plant based digestive enzymes that contain the following: Protease, Lipase, Amylase and Cellulase. Take with every meal. 3)Buy a Probiotic. Take two daily for two weeks and then reduce to one daily (after the bloating ceases – assuming this all works). 4)Reduce or remove dairy, sugar (she uses splenda), and wheat from diet. 5) Continue the oatmeal daily and sprinkle with 1 tsp of Cinnamon and NO Sugar - even splenda. 6)Keep a notebook of what she is eating and when she bloats and doesn't bloat after eating. We can't get to the store until tomorrow, so it will take a bit before we know how well this is working. Thank you to everyone for your help!
