Not sure if you are looking for humane traps or if that's an issue or not, but we used to put Coca-cola in jelly jar lids when we went to bed. Mice can't burp and they will try to find a way outside when they realize they are internally pressured. It does kill them though....

Also, be sure when you set up traps, you put them back to back along a wall. They can jump over one trap, but not two and they will try to follow a wall rather than go around if possible.

Maybe you can borrow a really hungry cat.... LOL...

From Walmart came these pricey plastic mouse traps with V on top. Tonight set up two traps inches apart, with fresh, delish peanut butter, and the mouse or mice took the pb and the traps didn't even go off. Back to Walmart for the return of my money. Can I call these PHD mice?
