Guest guest
Speaking of cayenne…I have my daughter, sil, and grandson here for the week. The sil has a friend who lives in the area and he spent the night Friday night on his way to NYC for the Thanksgiving holiday. The friend is a double doctorate medical doctor, just finished his residency and is exploring options as to where to go next, so you can imagine some of the discussions we had.<G> To my amazement, he was incredibly open-minded about my “crazy” ideas, which were totally opposite everything he’d learned in medical school and practice thus far. He was very happy to hear that cayenne can stop a heart attack in its tracks (because that would be a good thing to do before you could get he patient to “proper medical care”<G>) and he shared with me that, along those same lines, if one is having an asthma attack and doesn’t have their breathalyzer (whatever those breathing gun things are called), inhale the steam from a pot of hot coffee to get relief. The steam from the coffee has some of the same medical makeup as the breathable asthma medication. We had many good long discussions while he was here! And I think I planted a few seeds… Sharyn From: health [mailto:health ] On Behalf Of carolG Have you considered cayenne? I believe it is sold in capsules, but I would think fresh in foods is better. I know you can make a tea with it too,b ut easy does it to break in.
