I had a half raw dinner tonight. Made some lima beans cooked with onion, garlic and water. Then made a salsa with about 2 cups fresh tomatoes, 2 red Anaheim chilis, 1 Guido Mystery chili (not sure what kind but hot) 2 large cloves of garlic, 2 small yellow squash, small handful of parsley, very large handful of cilantro. All were chopped fairly fine. Let the salsa marry while the beans cooked. Put them half and half in a bowl. Good! No salt, no meat, half raw.

Gayla - be careful with those beans in the smoothie! You may give him enough gas to propel himself to New Jersey!!! Mixing beans and fruits is a volitle combination!!!

Thanks for the warning. I was only going to sneak in a tablespoon or so. I will forget it and whiz them up in salad dressing.
