I believe my hardwoods floors are sealed and I have used whjite vinegar for cleaning purposes with water. My Hoover floormate has died 3 different times, 3 different machines and used white vinegar with first machine. It cleaned great when it worked. Costo got them all back with my receipt. I have a dog but no odor; however, she eats raw and maybe that is the difference in odors. I don't know. Best to you.
