Guest guest
Hi Sardar If you cannot be more specific about the emotions around your depression maybe you could start by thinking about where in your body does the depression live. Do you have a feeling of it in your heart, your stomach or maybe a physical pain somewhere that comes with the depression. If your depression is multi issue which usually is the case maybe you can pick out one aspect of it and tap on that, something around when it started would be a good start. You could ask your unconscious mind Please could you tell me what the reason is for this depression? Ask last thing at night and see what pops up in you mind in the morning and tap on that. Another angle could be having a set up around even though part of me wants to keep this depression to protect me from something, but I don't know what I give permission to release all the feelings of depression in my body and mind. Also on an unconscious level there may be a part of you that does not believe you will ever be rid of depression, you could use a set up around Even though part of me believes I will always have elements of depression...... Hope some of this is helpful to make a start on your depression issues. Guest guest
Hi Lyn: I was surprised to get extreme fatigue, inability to read, and roughly three hours of sleep, for three days; I haven't had this for a few years. I couldn't attribute to anything new in my mood or in my life,(other than deep buried emotions resurfacing as a result of tapping.) Yes " depression is a general description " , which I didn't know what to tap on, but I went ahead despite of not being specific, I tapped " even though I have this depression, I ask my subconscious mind to release, and set free all the emotional components along with other related issues that have been a problem for me " . Since yesterday, I feel new person. EFT is so amazing! Thank you Warmly Sardar Laffin Lyn <rayofsunn@...> wrote: Hi Sardar I think the word " depression " is a rather general description. The first question that pops into my head is - wonder what the depression is about. You don't have to answer that - its just a question that comes up for me because its like saying " I'm afraid " and then the normal response would be " of what " . I'd get what you are depressed about as much as possible and then tap on the emotional aspects of it. Some people believe that depression is a purely physical symptom. However, before one is doing something to their body which might have a depressing effect, one must ask why are they doing that to themselves to begin with. Guest guest
Hi : With disturbed sleep, and extrem fatigue, I was unable to think properly {You could ask your unconscious mind Please could you tell me what the reason is for this depression?} This is a great way to find the answer for the unknown problem, ( couple weeks ago Lyn suggested this question, and it worked for me), but this time my mind went blank, and tapped on the " depression " itself. I think the sudden appearance of the symptoms was the result of releasing deep emotional wounds. I feel great since yesterday. Guest guest
Hi Sardar I am very pleased you shifting deep emotional issues and feeling so much better. Just keep on tapping and noticing what your unconscious is telling you and I am sure you will continue to achieve progress! Guest guest
Yes Lyn's point was well said! I was very tired, then little sleep. The fatigue overwhelmed me, quickly posted a message from good people in this group. I think, buried energy started moving through my body, as a result of tapping. Warmly Sardar Charlie Curtis <charlieach@...> wrote: I agree with Lyn's points. I'm a therapist, and when people come for " depression " , I ask them " depressed about what " , and it's always something, like " because I'm sick " or " because she died " or " because this situation in my life seems hopeless " or whatever. but it's always because of something else that seems unsolvable, and once you find out what that " something else " is, you can tap on it. charlie
