More hints please besides vinegar...like straight vinegar in water, vinegar sitting in pot overnight, etc?????????

One person wrote me local and swears by ketchup...

Throw it ALL in. Vinegar, baking soda, ketchup etc. Let it sit for a couple days and see what happens! lol!

KETCHUP. Wonder what is in there that would make it work. Here's her note: "let the entire burnt area w/ KETCHUP yes ketchup & let sit 24-48..." She said she couldn't believe it either. Hugs, carol

My great aunt recommended water and baking soda. Vinegar (acid) is the strongest ingredient in ketchup I can think of.

Now if y'all would excuse me, my sister sent us a little unexpected Mad Money and I just happened to find a soft tub on Craig's List for that exact amount.........see ya later!

Gloria, If I mix/match it all together how am I going to figure out what worked?. In between cleaning kitchen from making carrot juice, I have the burnt pot with baking "powder" (since this all I had around and not the baking soda which is coming here in next day or so) and vinegar playing around in the burnt pot. I may just rinse the pot before bed and monitor it more tomorrow vs. leaving it on for 1-2 days. I am seeing some results but my foam sponge is helping me do some elbow work too to loosen the crud. Gloria, I remember your Good Night private email hours ago. Was it that you couldn't help dreaming about my pot that prompted you to get back online?????? Now I'm off to bed myself.
