Guest guest
Hi All, I am wearing my 3G now and Love it. I was talking to my Audie when he hooked me up and I think he just gave me a couple more chapters for my book that will cover getting my second ear implanted AND paid for by my insurance. he claims. A: There are " Twelve " TOTAL bialaterials that CA did in their study B: ANY bialatial that was PAID for thru Insurance was only due to a MISTAKE and that NOT ONE bilaterial has been APROVED thru Insurance. He also said that he would rather see ONE person get a BIG benefit from ONE CI than a person getting a little extra benifit from having a second! It burned me up big time but I held myself back.. I know HE would NOT feel the same if he LOST all his hearing in BOTH ears.. Love to hear from anyone that has bilaterial implants on this one. AND we should really get a forum on Oprah with this as the topic. Cheers, Evel
Guest guest
Well, Evel, your audie is WRONG! I am bilateral and my second implant was paid for by my insurance. At first they denied the second implant, but we appealed and then they approved it!! It always amazes me how some people are so ill informed about things that they should know about LOL!!!! Good luck in your quest to go bilateral and if need by, change audies. Guest guest
Evel, I would not let my audie do that if he told me such a thing. Tell him! He may be a good audie, but he needs to realize that was not a professional opinion. *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* My mechanic told me, " I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder.
