Guest guest Posted August 17, 2006 Report Share Posted August 17, 2006 Bride of the Sun Salve 1 handful of wild garlic1 cup of marigold blossoms9 rosemary blossoms9 lavender blossoms1 cup of goat butter or olive oilUse olive oil or goat butter over a low flame for a base. Over low flame carefully mixin an earthenware or an enamel pot marigold blossoms, rosemary blossoms andlavender blossoms with a wooden spoon. Simmer for 3 minutes. Remove and allowto cool. Cover and store in cool place. The next day heat again over low flame,gently stirring for 7 minutes. Cool to body temperature and strain throughgauze cloth. Fill glass or earthenware container, cover tightly and store incool, dark place. Apply thin film of the salve to affected area. Do not useheavy application, rather repeat treatment more often.
