You are saying that you heard better with your hearing aid than with the CI? Pam

Guest guest
It's confusing to compare hearing aids and CI, because the benefit will depend on your hearing capability right *now.* So there's no way to compare them directly. If you have profound hearing loss, you're better with CI. If you have mild hearing loss, you're much better going with hearing aids. If you have severe-to-profound, then you need to have BTE trial. Guest guest
Well its not really confusing because you really cannot compare apples to pineapples. Both deliver the same result.....great taste and happy tummy. The CI and HA deliver the same result....better hearing and happy person. Certainly they do the same thing but work much differently. I dont even know why anyone would even try to compare the two devices. You cannot even decide to get a CI simply to get that sucky earmold out of there and eliminate feedback. You CAN decide you rather eat apple than pineapple. *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* Waiter, there's no fly in my soup! --Kermit the frog & Gimlet (Guide Dawggie) Portland, Oregon N24C 3G 8/2000 Hookup rlclark77@... http://home.comcast.net/~rlclark77/
